Scope
This policy forms part of the Terms of Service between you and Lumina Labs Ltd. It applies to everyone who uses Lumina, including your team members and any client users you invite into a portal. If you break this policy we may suspend or terminate access, as set out in the Terms.
Connect only data you're entitled to
You may only connect accounts you own or have been authorised to access. If you are an agency connecting a client's Google, Meta or Shopify account, you must have that client's permission, and you are responsible for holding it. Don't use Lumina to access, aggregate or report on data belonging to someone who hasn't agreed to it.
Don't misuse the service
Don't attempt to gain unauthorised access to Lumina, to another customer's workspace, or to any system we run. Don't probe, scan or test the security of the service except through our responsible disclosure process. If you think you've found a vulnerability, email security@luminainsights.co — we'd rather hear from you. Don't overload the service, circumvent rate limits or plan limits, or automate access in a way designed to extract data in bulk beyond your own use. Don't reverse-engineer the platform, resell access, or run it as a service for a third party without a written agreement with us.
Don't use Lumina for unlawful or harmful purposes
Don't use Lumina to break the law, to infringe someone's intellectual property, or to process data in breach of data protection law. Don't use the reporting or delivery features to send spam, phishing or other unsolicited messages, or to distribute malware. Don't upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, or that you have no right to share.
Don't misrepresent report data
Lumina's AI drafts summaries from your connected data. Don't present an unreviewed AI draft to a client as verified analysis, and don't alter Lumina-generated figures to misrepresent performance to a client or any other party. You are responsible for what you send to your clients under your own branding.
Third-party platform rules
When you connect a third-party platform, that provider's own terms and API policies apply to your use of its data — including Google's API Services User Data Policy, and the platform terms of Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Shopify and the rest. Don't use Lumina in a way that would put us or you in breach of those terms.
Reporting a problem
To report abuse of the service or a breach of this policy, email legal@luminainsights.co. For a suspected security vulnerability, email security@luminainsights.co and we'll acknowledge within one business day.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product changes. Material changes are notified by email to registered users, and the current version always lives at /acceptable-use.
